Robert Gray built the first Shasta in 1941 to be used as military housing, not knowing that his homes on wheels would soon play a role in creating a billion-dollar industry. In the 50s and 60s, the look of the original Shasta trailer was the most easily recognized one on the road. Known then as "toasters-on-wheels," today the look is much more modern, but still recognizable as a Shasta RV.
Even today, Shasta is still a fan favorite. With the original Shasta RV--the Oasis--and the newer model Phoenix, you're sure to find a Shasta that fits you!
